Fantastic This campsite is amazing. Myself, my partner & our friends were made very welcome from the minute we arrived. The shower and toilet blocks are by far the best I have seen at a campsite. The trees give you privacy. The fact there are BBQs, fire pits, a fridge, freezer and a phone charging point all for free shows how much effort has been put into this site. We will be returning in another few months. Highly recommended.

Camping in the woods! Amazing, amazing, amazing!! We had a fantastic relaxing weekend here. Owners are lovely people who have created a fantastic campsite. A great experience. The shower block is the best I've ever used. A little piece of calm in this crazy world!

A beautiful woodland getaway! In a great location with a lovely pub only a 1.5 miles walk away. Jen & Larry have thought of everything on for this site, a large selection of BBQ's & fire pits for you to borrow free of charge, a great undercover fridge and freezer area with a BBQ to cook on if the weather isn't great. The cleanest campsite toilets we've ever used with lovely warm showers. There's a lovely cabin to stay in too. We will be back!

Really lovely, peaceful, natural site. This site is exactly what they say it is: peaceful, pretty, well appointed and even when it 'filled up ' it remained beautifully peaceful - I say filled but even full the place just swallows up the twenty tents and you wouldn't know it. The free to use fire pits and barbecues - pay for the wood/charcoal you burn - are a terrific touch, particularly as the nights get cooler. The toilets and washing up facilities (with complimentary washing up liquid - nice touch!) are modern and clean and there's a fridge freezer as well. Interesting little shop as well (with cold drinks) and it all works on an honesty basis - write down what you use and pay at the end when you check out. My only criticism is of the taps in the toilets - pretty but completely impractical. 20 minute walk to the village pub (numerous little produce stalls en route) and plenty of places to see nearby. Really lovely site. We'll camp in the woods next time.

Very clean & well looked after campsite.

What more could you want ....... Delightful setting in woodland or on the field, 5 star facilities,freezer and charging points, a small shop for all your needs, lovely owners who take pride in the site, you can pitch where you like and even when it's full it doesn't feel busy as there is so much space.... oh and it's adults only. There's also two cabins if you feel like treating yourself, well hidden from us campers and with lovely views.

Best campsite we have stayed in! Wow! Where do I start! Everything about this campsite was perfect, we have stayed at a lot of campsites, but this was definitely our favourite! Easy to book, instant reply to emails, friendly, helpful welcome as soon as we got there and throughout our stay. There is also a little information shed with maps and leaflets for the local area. Plenty of parking and wheelbarrows to transport your belongings from car to pitch. Stunning campsite where you get to choose from a woodland, meadow or next to pond pitch. We loved that it was adult only (dogs allowed) and the tents aren’t squeezed in, so plenty of space for everyone. Benches scattered around the campsite are very handy, running water in the meadow which you can drink from. A handy covered area where you can charge your mobiles and a fridge/ freezer to put your food in - even bags and a marker pen to write your names on. Plentiful free fire pits, BBQ’s and stands are available, and logs, charcoal and kindling are available to purchase. There is a little shop that has all the essentials you need including food, alcohol, toiletries etc. On to the toilet and shower blocks - absolutely spotless, and like something you would find in a good quality pub, rather than a campsite! Love the added touches of the radio playing, hairdryer, quality soap, hand dryer, warm blankets, hot water bottles and a kettle for if you get cold in the night. There are two large washing up areas with washing up liquid, clothes and scourers. Plenty of bins around the campsite including recycling bin. There is a lovely picturesque country pub about a 25 minute walk away serving food. Every little detail had been thought of to make the perfect, relaxing stay. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back very soon! Thank you so much.

Outstanding campsite amazing facilities very well thought and maintained. Five stars for the showers don't quite adequately give an idea how good they are. The whole site has quirky but tasteful features. The shop is a veritable Aladdins cave. I have never been anywhere with as much space. Had a couple of very nice evenings in the elephant shed when is was raining it was more like being in the himalayas than Suffolk. It is well located for both walking and cycling. There are also loads of stalls outside peoples houses selling local produce. Definitely want to come back.

The camp site was really friendly and well run. The facilities were second to none and really high quality.

Just delightful! Just back from a week at Newbourne Woods and its been a complete joy. Very tranquil setting, spacious pitches. Bathrooms are spotless/great showers. Wildlife abounds, so relaxing lying in the tent at night listening to the Owls hooting. We even saw a Kingfisher. Jen and Larry make you feel so welcome, we really feel as if we have found a place that we will go back to time and time again. We loved it.

Perfect idyll

Peaceful camping We chose this campsite as it was dog friendly, allowed campfires and was adults only. This campsite is small, and not over crammed, so it is very peaceful, you have the choice of an open field area or the wooded area, we chose the wooded area which was perfect to escape the hot sun with our dog. The toilets/showers/washing up facilities are brilliant, clean, critter free and well looked after, some of the best we have seen, the extra touches are great such as mozzie spray, blankets etc. Also there is an information hut which has some lovely walks to do. Fires can be lit in the firepits which are free to use and wood is £5 a crate, we only used one crate over 2 nights. My only very small criticism is that there is no shop which can be handy for the basics, other than that we loved it and would definitely come back

This wa our second trip to New Bourne Woodland campsite and every bit as good as the first. Very quiet site and lots of space. Jen made us very welcome and the facilities were spotless. Would definitely recommend for a tranquil stay. Rod and Jo.

Great, well kept campsite with a well stocked little honesty shop. Quiet and relaxing location with excellent facilities. Free loan of firepit and bbq and use of a fridge freezer. Lovely toilets and showers. Will definitely go again.

Only been here a night so far and I literally cannot rate this place any higher as well as the owner Jen enough, she has thought of everything one would need. All water is drinkable, there is a communal fridge/freezer, communal charging port, 2 communal sinks for washing up and they are stocked with spinges and washing up liquid. The facilities are honestly the cleanest and most well presented I have seen anywhere I have been (me and my partner go camping 2-3times a year all over the UK) and they smell lovely too, another thoughtful touch is that both male and female facilities have clean blankets incase you get cold, in the women's one you even have a kettle and hot water bottles... i mean come on how thoughtful is that!Highly impressed with this adult only, dog friendly, site ❤️The grounds are stunning with flora and fauna popping up here and there and the fact you can camp in the small woodland area on site or on the grass area is just another bonus that I am unsure what other campsites do??

The shop is well stocked & fairly priced, BBQ’s & fire pits to use and all you need to cook & keep warm. Showers & toilets were clean at all times (2 night stay) and the fridge freezer & charging point we’re perfectly added conveniences. Just heaven.

Fabulous little secret What a lovely weekend my husband and I had over the bank holiday. We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely secluded little campsite. The free use of a bbq and firepit was great. The shower blocks and washing up facilities are immaculate. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning soon. I just hope the 'secret' does not spread too soon!! Oh and adults only so nice and peaceful without the kids :-)

An oasis of tranquility I stayed here recently with my partner and we both absolutely loved it. It is a small campsite off the beaten track that combines meadow and woodland, and with the number of guests limited it manages to feel both cosy and spacious. In fact, as you look out over the meadows, hills and woods it is easy to believe that you are camping in open nature rather than on a campsite. There is also a pond hidden by a stand of trees - it was delightful to sit and watch the dragonflies dancing over the water. What we particularly appreciated was the fact that cars cannot drive across the site - you have to park by the entrance and use a wheelbarrow to transport your kit. Being a small site this is not an onerous task, and the lack of cars coming and going creates a real tranquility. The campsite provides barbecues and firepits free of charge (though of course you have to pay for the wood and charcoal, which are very reasonably priced). We loved being able to sit by the fire in the evening, listening to the owls hooting in the distance. The toilets and showers were great, and there is a small shop with a useful selection of goods. The information cabin has a large number of local guides and maps that you can borrow free of charge. Quite simply, I cannot fault this place, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Where do I start! ||||This place is so lovely, from the very start the owners made us feel welcome and and they were so laidback. You can pitch where you like and once saying hello you are sent off to find your spot. ||||The grounds were tidy and just beautoful - and it was lovely to have the option for either meadow or woodland camping! We chose the woods - which worked nicely for us as we were close to the facilities and love wildlife! Which if you do love wildlife it is incredible for!|||| We had a couple pheasants that wandered around our camp every day we named the fella Phillip lol. Deer, rabbits everything! We see the lot - and I see a review about bringing ear plugs as the sounds of the birds start very early! But dont be fooled into thinking its overbearing - the sounds of the birds were beautiful and was amazing to fall asleep to them all saying goodnight and again in the morning! ||||The toilets/shower block was very clean and tidy and the showers were incredible! I didn't ever want to get out! Me and my partner loved all the little extras like the hot water bottles (which saved us at night time!) and blankets etc. ||||There is also a fridge and a charging station which we wasnt pepared for so was such a lovely touch! It was super quiet when we went with only 2 other pitches when we arrived and it was the perfect time for peace and some tranquility! ||||Our car even broke down and the owners were more than helpful - allowing us to park outside their home and checking on us.||||An amazing adults only getaway and me and my partner will most definetly be back again not only for camping but for the cabins too!

What a lucky find So often when you arrive at a site there is something that is a little disappointing, or "not quite" as described. Not so here! We received a warm and friendly welcome, a totally laid back atmosphere, a beautiful site, and a cabin that far exceeded our expectations. Clean, comfortable, secluded, well appointed, fabulously comfortable beds.... A first class shower and toilet block, dog- friendly, and I could go on and on.... I would only say there is the facility to charge mobile devices, but little or no phone signal on the actual site, but you can pick it up by moving about if you are desperate!! We would thoroughly recommend this site to anybody, don't hesitate to book!

A beautiful place Just returned from 3 nights in Cherrytree cabin. It was lovely, The setting is so peaceful and beautiful and was fabulous to just sit and be. The cabin itself is well equipped with an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, chairs and table. Inside was beautifully done with lots of candles and solar lights. The beds and mattresses were very comfortable and we slept so well. The toilet block was perfect, the showers luxurious and very very clean. There is a washing up area and the elephant shed with a mobile phone charging point and fridge and freezers for campers use. The owner was very helpful and friendly. A little honesty shop on site was the perfect touch. The site has 2 cabins and pitches for tents. It’s an adult only site with pick your own place to pitch in the woods or field. We definitely recommend and hope to return very soon. Would give more than 5* if I could!!!

Great little campsite Very clean and quiet. Lots of small touches to make camping so much easier like plenty of hooks in large showers, blankets to borrow if you're cold, bug spray, kettle and tables and chairs provided. There's a campers kitchen with phone charging point, fridges and freezer plus seating with candles. All very lovely. This is an adults only and tent only campsite which is rare and much appreciated by those of us who work all year with children and need a quiet break!! The shop has all essentials at a very reasonable price and Jen is really friendly and approachable. Thoroughly recommend this little gem of a campsite.

Fantastically well-kept site, good range of options for where to set down (grass, pond-side, wooded), impressively clean and well-stocked bathrooms with blankets to borrow, and less than a mile from the excellent Fox Inn.

A real gem of a campsite! Fantastic time camping in woodland. The pitch itself was so unique and gave the feel of camping in the wild. At the same the facilities were amazing and the free fire pits were a big bonus. There were subtle touches of detail every where you look which made it even more special. What we liked about Newbourne Campsite the most was the lack of signs but the respect and trust everyone had towards the campsite. Says a lot about how amazing the owners are. A real unique gem of a site. We'll be coming again. Rachel and Penny

Great cabin and camping !! Me and the other half first went here to see if she would like camping ? Well after we left! She had to admit she loved it 😄 The facility's here are amazingly clean and every think is thought of around the site. Free fire pits to use round your tent BBQs to use if you don't have your own ,blankets you can borrow for chillie nights. You can pitch where you like in the field or the woods and there is a lovely shelter you can sit and watch the world of birds and wildlife playing across the adjacent fields. We also have stayed in the cabin for a long weekend again was amazing candles everywhere so the fiancé loved it. If you love being outside this place is a must no doubt you will see us here a few times over the summer we love it here.

Fabulous What a fantastic find, beautiful tranquil surroundings, walk to the pub. The owners couldn’t be more accommodating, they have thought of absolutely everything, down to blankets,hot water bottles, hairdryers, kettle in the shower block .Five star loos/showers. Despite no electric hook up there are charging facilities for your phones , fridge , freezer ,all at no extra cost. BBQs and fire pits to borrow, logs for sale (very reasonable) and an amply stocked shop with fresh bread etc to order. Loads of local information available . They’ve missed nothing and we will definitely return for another wind down. 😀😀

Newbourne Campsite is one of the best stays in Suffolk, located in a beautiful countryside location. The site is very well looked after with plenty of amenities.Don’t forget to check out the local village fruit/veg stands and pubs!

Kingfisher cabin We stayed in the kingfisher cabin, lovely and unique. Loved everything about it and enjoyed our bbqs on the decking overlooking the resorvior. They are an adult only site which is nice as it was lovely and peaceful. Also dog friendly

A real hidden gem! What a beautiful little campsite! From the warm welcome by the friendly owners to the excellent shower & toilet facilities this really is one of the best sites I've stayed on. Although we only stayed one night therefore didn't take advantage of the free fire pit or barbecue we certainly will next time we visit. Pitches feel secluded due to the woodland setting and as an adults only site it's perfect for some quiet down time. Really looking forward to going back :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here, the owners couldn't do enough for us with the offer of hot water bottles and extra blankets if needed. As for the actual site, the facilities are amazing, the shower block and washrooms are all brand new and the spec on the inside is amazing with only the best of everything from the porcelain down to the hand soap! There are plenty of plots, both under cover of trees or in the open, and if the weather is poor there's a sizable shelter with tables and seats. So many extras here, too many to list..... Highly recommended, definitely worth a visit.

The best campsite I’ve been to I can’t tell you how amazing this camp site is. If you want to refresh and get away from technology then this is the place to go. Words don’t do it justice nor do they for Jen and Larry who run the campsite. The toilets/showers are in excellent condition with instant hot water and use of a kettle and hairdryer in the ladies. Jen and Larry were very friendly and helpful, making our experience at Newbourne campsite even more pleasant and memorable. The actual campsite itself is visually stunning and you feel so alive and present being in the open fields, especially when the warmth of the sun is beating down on your skin, or just being around the fire pit outside and listening to the crackling and spitting of the fire and watching the flames dance in the dark. It’s a tranquil environment which offers luxury and peace and you truly feel rejuvenated and cleansed after a visit here. Use of bbqs and fire pits are free, you just pay for wood or coal available at the campsite. There is a shop aswell just incase you forget them marshmallows to roast on the campfire at night. The memories I have made coming to Newbourne campsite are everlasting and I couldn’t be happier that we came across such an incredible, beautiful place. It is adults only which gives it even more sense of peace and you don’t have to worry about noise or being disturbed. Lot of love for this place and cannot wait to visit again next year!

Beautiful relaxing site This campsite is beautifully designed and maintained. I love everything about it. From the wide open spaces, amazing hot showers, hot water bottles and blankets to use. A hidden gem that I was lucky to find. On arrival I was in need of rest and recuperation. This site enables you to digitally detox and be at one with nature. Customers and treated respectfully and the ethos of honesty and trust are a refreshing bonus. Lovely spaces to roam and facilities to use. Even the handsoap is amazing! The honesty shop is well stocked. Attention to detail throughout and immaculately clean. I cant wait to return. My favourite find was the little seat (Joe's place) Thank you Lenny and Jen. Want a peaceful, idlilic, immaculate and friendly campsite? Book here now you won't be disappointed! We (2 of us) stayed here for a weekend in June. The site is immaculately kept with a choice of open field, woods or a small clearing hidden in the woods which we were lucky enough to choose! The site is adult only so in the evenings is very quiet, perfect for just sitting outside the tent and looking and listening to nature. Sinks for washing up are under cover along with fridge & freezer to use in 'The Elephant Shed', an undercover communal area with the most impressive woodburner ever! The shower & toilet block is as it describes on the website- 5 star! Lovely rainfall showers, sinks with mirrors. It's the little touches that stand out. In both gents and ladies blocks there are boxes full of blankets to borrow if the weather gets suddenly chilly and in the ladies there are hot water bottles and a kettle to fill! Fires are permitted in certain areas as long as you use a metal firepit (free to borrow). Crates of logs are always available to buy. We came across a lovely little cast iron chimenea which kept us warm sitting outside the tent in the evenings. A small shop has basic provisions. There are lots of local walks printed on A4 paper to take and use. Every detail is taken care of! I can't put into words just how beautiful this site is. Nature all around along with pure relaxation & peace will see us returning very soon! If you're a couple after a quiet spot then this is the place for you. Great little campsite away from any main roads and cars.Paid the lower rate as I came on foot, plenty of space on the site to set up.Toilets and dish washing area were kept clean.Highly recommended for a relaxing break from it all due to the location and the quiet of the site.

Simply the best woodland campsite! Wow! What a fantastic place! The owners are such lovely people, and they have thought of absolutely everything here. It is dog-friendly, and there were no little children. Once arrived, you can walk about and choose where you want to pitch your tent. The fire pits, barbecues and logs are plentiful. The toilets and showers are better than some hotels and restaurants! There is even "posh" soap and hand cream in the ladies' - as well as a kettle and a hairdryer! There is a covered outside area with a barbecue, fridge/freezer and phone charging point. They also have a small shop on site. It is the best campsite I have been to in this country (and better than several I have been to in France.) We will definitely be returning!

I was welcomed by the very friendly and caring owner, who made sure I had everything I needed. The cabin I stayed in was very tastefully decorated, comfortable and well equipped. The biggest (positive) surprise for me were the toilet and shower facilities : sparkling clean, nice looking and quite different from what you usually find on campsites. Very luxurious and not like anything I have ever seen on a camp site in the UK. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

relaxing break We camped here for two nights last week, and were really impressed with this site. Yes - it is a little more expensive than other sites but for this you get: to choose where you pitch the tent with woodland options, firepits and BBQs, along with firewood and charcoal they make onsite. The facilities are excellent, with blankets, flyspray and a useful kettle, which came in handy when I was unwell during the night, and needed a quick cuppa. The showers are also great, hot with plenty of hooks to hang clothes etc and if you're tall then you should be happy, as my 6'4" partner was able to stand up straight under it. It was peaceful and relaxing. We loved it and will return.

The little extras make all the difference We stayed for 2 nights as a group of friends. We we arrived there was only one other tent, so we pitched up over looking the meadow. I was surprised to find sturdy benches and tables scattered around for use by campers. We set up, borrowed a BBQ and a fire pit and we were off. The owners sell charcoal from the house and have crates of logs for the fire pit. Loved the little touches in the toilet block. A box of blankets to borrow in case you get cold and bug spray/bite cream for all to use. I also loved that the campsite had a small fridge and freezer to use, also plug sockets to charge phones/lights near the toilets. Loved camping in the woods, gave a good bit of shelter from the light rain. Wonderfully out of the way and very peaceful. Thoroughly recommend and wi certainly be back.

Had a lovely weekend staying at the Newbourne Woodland Campsite. It's a beautiful campsite with lots of choice of where to pitch - open space, woodland area, more hidden grassy areas. Facilities were kept very clean and the best I've seen on a campsite. Especially loved the spacious showers, full-length mirror and the added touch of a kettle and extra blankets in the bathroom in case you get cold. Jen was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The campsite also had an excellent shop that was stocked with everything you need (and lots of things you didn't realise you needed!) Highly recommend.

Great campsite What a great campsite! Great surroundings and facilties...BBQ's and firepits you can borrow and chopped up wood for £5 per crate. Jen even goes to the effort of leaving spare sleeping bags, blankets and hot water bottles in the ladies facilities. Fridges, freezer and even an electronics charging up box free for people to use. The fellow campers were all friendly and one guy even let us look in the lodge he was staying in. It was lovely. Highly recommend it to anyone - even first time campers.

Lovely place, quiet and very relaxing weekend, we 'll be back as soon as possible

Tranquil escape, sublime setting, outstanding facilities This was our 3rd visit to this tranquil campsite and it is our favourite get away as a couple. The setting is sublime, either in the field or the woodland, the facilities are the best I have ever seen at a camping site, the owners are fantastic and work hard to make our holiday the best it can be. The site is big enough that you do not have to camp on top of each other. There is plenty to do nearby such as hiking, walking, country pubs and villages to visit and their is plenty of wildlife about. We counted at least 20 varieties of bird from just sitting by our tent. Every time we have visited there has been nothing that has let us down other than the weather and we have always left feeling totally relaxed and refreshed. If I could I would visit more often. Slightly more expensive than other campsites but in my opinion it's worth every penny you pay. Highly recommend this campsite if you want a relaxing get away on your own, as a pair or a group of 2-4 people. Thank you for another lovely holiday and we shall be returning next year.

One of the best campsites we have ever stayed at! We loved the location and enjoyed exploring the many beautiful footpaths around. The site is so beautiful and the hosts have put so much thought into everything, it feels like a privilege to stay there. Perhaps the best recommendation is that we booked again before we left!

4 night stay We originally booked for 3 nights but decided to stay the extra night. The campsite is beautiful and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. The toilets are clean and the washing up facilities are great. There are extra blankets and even hot water bottles for cold nights. We used the fire pit for 3 nights and there is plenty of wood to purchase at a cost of £5. There is a little shop on site to purchase food and drink. We will definitely be back again.

Just book it to see for yourself! We have just got back from our 2nd stay at Newbourne, and can't wait to go back next year! We love being able to choose where to pitch, the amazing hot showers, and being able to have a fire! Not to mention the fact that it's adults only! The owners really have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Don't think twice, just book it!

Absolutely amazing me my partner and my dog adored staying here in a quiet woodland spot it was perfect and the owners were also amazing and so so polite we loved the little shop and the fresh produce in the morning was fabulous we only had to leave site once and that was because our air bed broke! Beautiful place amazing owners we can't wait to come back x

A really amazing campsite, if you are after some peace and quiet then this is the place for you, the owners are very friendly and very welcoming, the facilities are clean and grounds very well kept, with plenty of local walks and a great pub only 20 minutes walk away this site is a true gem

Fantastic week as always here, we keep coming back because it's so damn good! The good points: excellent showers, loos and washing up facilities.Loads of space for you to pitch where you like, shade, sun, forest, field, the choice is yours. Amazing peaceful views, just greenery and birds. You can have camp fires in most pitches, which you can buy their wood for which is very reasonably priced. They make their own charcoal which is also very reasonably priced. Fridge, freezer, phone charging, showers all free. The owners are absolutely lovely. Tents and adults only, quiet after ten. There's now a little shop added, all the essentials can be found. They even provide washing up liquid and bug cream to share. Which brings me nicely to the bad point: Bugs! They are a complete pain and we were bitten lots, but they have provided bite cream, spray to kill them if they are in your tent, and spray to put on you to keep you bite free. So keep the mesh zips done up all the time to keep the buggers out, think about where you pitch (they are worse in the wood and near the water), and take your own bug stuff so you can cover yourself in it in the comfort of your tent. It's the only downside to the site and it's worth it.

What a gem of a place! It’s hard to know where to begin describing this fabulous idyllic place. Driving through the village you immediately get a sense of what’s to come, residents have barrows set up selling home grown produce, everyone gives way down the single lane and as far as you can see it’s just beautiful farmlands. On my arrival Jen (the owner) came out to greet me and directed me to Cherry Tree Cabin. No 15 minute lecture about rules and regulations just basic information and a request to relax and enjoy. A short walk through the woods revealed the most amazing accommodation. Wheelbarrows are available to transport your gear. A very spacious one room cabin with 2 single beds awaited me with plenty of places to hang your clothes, an abundance of blankets and lovely little touches like pictures and tapestries which make the place very unique and homely. There is an outside kitchen with 2 gas ring burners and every cooking utensil you could think of. There’s a table and chairs on the deck and then down a couple of steps to the fire pit and another couple of relaxing chairs. The view is breathtaking overlooking the water meadow and within 5 minutes I had seen my first herd of about 5 deer. There’s no electricity which makes it even more special but there are loads of candles which light up the cabin and plenty of solar lights outside. There’s a small electric fan heater type of thing which just took the edge off the chilly nights. The facilities at this site are second to none! You can pitch your tent wherever you like, be that on the open grass or nestled away in the woods. There are BBQs and fire pits to use, logs and home made charcoal are available at a small cost. The shower/toilet block is the cleanest and the most well thought out I have ever seen. There’s hand soap,cream, electric points, a hairdryer and a kettle. Together with blankets and insect repellent. Showers are on a push timer but were spacious, strong and hot! There’s a communal undercover area which houses fridge/freezers and an electric box to charge your phone. Washing up bases were also fully equipped with washing up liquid/sponges/clothes and lovely hot water. The camp runs on trust and honesty, how refreshing in this day and age! there’s a small shop just up by the main house which has everything you might need or have forgotten, take what you want and jot it down in the book, settle up when you leave! there’s a pub in the village but I didn’t visit. But the nature reserve just passed it is beautiful, saw my first muntjac deer! Nearby there’s Woodbridge and Wickham Market which are quaint little towns full of quirky little shops and Felixstowe beach was about a 15 minute drive, if you can drag yourself away from the peace and tranquility of the camp that is! I travelled alone and I felt very safe. It really was the perfect retreat to have some quality ‘me’ time, there is something very cathartic about sitting outdoors in front of a roaring fire listening to the wildlife (owls, foxes, deers, birds) I stayed for 3 nights but 4 or 5 would’ve been ideal. Beautiful location with great facilities. I have stayed at Newbourne Woodland Campsite a few times now and absolutely love it! It is an adult only site so is great for a getaway with the husband and friends. Beautiful grounds and the facilities are brilliant. The toilets are always lovely and clean and the shower is to die for! Free use of barbeques and fire pits is a wonderful idea and you can buy a crate of logs at a very good price. There is also use of a fridge, a freezer and a phone charging point in a communal area which all make this a fantastic place to camp! We will definitely be coming again and again!

Virgin campers Other than overnight fishing trips never been camping before. Searched web for campsites in suffolk and found Newbourne. After a couple of emails with Jen all booked in minutes. Arrived on site(windy wet cold) and Jen gave a guided tour and explained the "rules"- pretty much get on with your own thing but if you need any help give her a shout We pitched on the grass as we did not want the mud on our first outing tent went up ok. Well what you really need to hear is, Site brilliant, facilities 5*, the smallest shop but everything you may need, we could have done an evening meal and breakfast with shop purchases but took our own- know better for next time. We travelled only 50 miles to get total peace and a great time with log fires and bbq's we intend to return in August. Although we have not been to other sites what we got from other campers this site is well up amongst the best. They say first memories last, mine will!! What a beautiful quiet little gem Newbourne Woodland Campsite, turned out to be!!The facilities are immaculate, and the little touches like mosquito spray for yourself and your tent, so thoughtful. Hot water bottles and blankets if you get cold, and hair drier!The double toilet and showers we're brilliant, hot water constantly running, so clean!!Just outside we're two sinks, supplied with washing up liquid and sponges.Camp fires are supplied and a crate if wood only £5!! Ours lasted 2 days.BBQs are also supplied for free, with cheap charcoal, you can also bring your own.There are 2 fridges where you can store your food, electric to charge your phone's, tablets etc. There is also a small shop should you need anything, ranging from drinks to beans to frozen food.You have a choice of camping in the woods, where we stayed, or on the green.There are signs asking for customers to keep the noise down after 10pm, not that we heard any during the day. It's so quiet and peaceful. We had an amazing, relaxing, 3 nights, originally 2 nights booked, but instantly fell in love with the place, and booked another night.There isn't one disappointing thing I can say. This is my first time camping, I was a little worried but after our first night, I didn't want to go home!! I will certainly be back in the near future.

Beautiful Lovely campsite. Lots of room, toilets and washing up facilities exceptional. They have thought of everything. Setting is wonderful. Dogs were welcome and there was even a treat tin for them, We did a lovely walk to Waldringfield and dinner in The Fox pub nearby. I don't go camping very often but this experience has made me want to go more.

A hidden gem that I was lucky to find. |On arrival I was in need of rest and recuperation. |This site enables you to digitally detox and be at one with nature. |Customers and treated respectfully and the ethos of honesty and trust are a refreshing bonus. |Lovely spaces to roam and facilities to use.|Even the handsoap is amazing!|The honesty shop is well stocked. |Attention to detail throughout and immaculately clean. |I cant wait to return. |My favourite find was the little seat (Joe's place)|Thank you Lenny and Jen. |See you soon for sure!

Nice relaxed campsite, beautiful scenery

Excellent! We only stayed for one night, as we were testing out some new camping equipment. Greeted by Jen, who was very friendly and relaxed. Pitched the tent and headed to the Fox for a reinvigorating pint! Very nice place, about 25 minutes walk from the campsite. We borrowed a fire pit for the evening which was really lovely. The camp was very peaceful, and everyone seemed friendly. There were a few dogs, which was nice for our puppy Roxanne! Showers and toilet facilities were excellent, very clean and very luxurious for a campsite. All in all, a great stay. Would recommend, and will return!

A complete escape We chose this site as it looked like a secluded getaway and we were not disappointed. Find a pitch nestled in the woodlands and set up camp. No cars in the woodland which makes it even more peaceful, wheelbarrows available to move your things to and from the car. Larry, Jen and Barney are friendly and welcoming and make sure you know where everything you need is. There is a great pub serving delicious food a short walk away. There is also a fantastic farm shop with the most amazing burgers on the way to the pub. The coast is a few miles away as are the towns of Ipswich, (lovely docklands area) and Felixstowe with its pebble beach, amusements and traditional beach huts. We also took our 2 dogs who absolutely loved it. Perfect getaway for walking, cycling and just relaxing :-)

Excellent site This campsite is wonderful. Very clean toilet/shower block with everything you need. We camped in the forest and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Little touches such as bug spray in the toilet block for campers to use was very well received! We are in The Fox one evening - highly recommended and a nice walk. Take a torch!

This is the best campsite I've ever been to. The pitches are in a beautiful setting, with plenty of trees and wildlife to enjoy. It's so quiet! The facilities are lovely and are spotlessly clean and everything is so well thought out, from a fridge, to phone charging area, even rugs and hot water bottles. Plus the elephants of course! We will be back.

Beautiful peaceful site..loads of footpaths and bridleways for walking..running..cycling from the site and use of maps at the site..and local produce and deli on road leading to site..Love this place..perfect respite and relaxation...

Kingfisher cabin review Just had a weekend in Kingfisher cabin, and it was amazing. We would really recommend it. The location was great, the owners were really friendly. The cabin itself is a really quirky & fun to stay in; it's equipped with everything you need, with a beautiful wood burning stove. I will definitely go again!!

Lovely quiet and well presented campsite. Good quality shower/toilet facilities, and the availability of blankets & hot water bottles to borrow was a very nice touch on a chilly night, as we were touring on a tandem and travelling light. Free loan of bbq & firepits (just pay for your charcoal etc) was also a bonus along with a well stocked shop on site. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Very peaceful location with great owners

a camping treasure, gem of a place, away from it all and with excellent facilities This is an wonderful destination. Easily accessible, yet when you get there a haven of peace and tranquility. It's wonderful to camp and know that you won't be surrounded by caravans and campervans as big as small houses, no vehicles, no noise, no pollution. A vast site, but the policy of restricting the numbers means that it is never crowded. With this comes a modern and scrupulously clean toilet bock, a freezer and a fridge and a place to charge electical equipment. What else can you possibly want. We're in danger of always choosing to go there, other sites never reach the same level of satisfaction.

This is a very good camp site, with careing owners. I would recommend to anyone.

Highly recommended! Me and a friend have just returned from a 3 night stay at Newbourne Woodland Campsite, and it was by far the best camp site we've been to! We were welcomed upon arrival by Jen and beautiful Barney the resident dog! They have thought of absolutely everything on site, from the elephant shed where campers can chill out together in front of a fire, to the phone charging point, to the free fire pits and barbeques! The toilet block is amazing too, it's a real touch of luxury which is always nice when camping! (especially when it rains and you're covered in mud!). The owners have even included little extras like bug spray, sting cream and boxes of blankets and sleeping bags if you've forgotten yours or you're chilly! We brought my dog along which I highly recommend doing as the area is so dog friendly (make sure to go to Sizewell Beach with your canine friend if you get the chance!) she loved camping and playing with Barney. The site is adults only which was excellent as it was always so peaceful and everybody was so friendly, and no screaming kids! Yay! I definitely recommend this camp site to everyone - I cannot fault it in any way. If you don't chose to visit you are missing out!

Everything about this campsite was perfect, we have stayed at a lot of campsites, but this was definitely our favourite!|Easy to book, instant reply to emails, friendly, helpful welcome as soon as we got there and throughout our stay.|There is also a little information shed with maps and leaflets for the local area. Plenty of parking and wheelbarrows to transport your belongings from car to pitch.|Stunning campsite where you get to choose from a woodland, meadow or next to pond pitch. We loved that it was adult only (dogs allowed) and the tents aren’t squeezed in, so plenty of space for everyone.|Benches scattered around the campsite are very handy, running water in the meadow which you can drink from.|A handy covered area where you can charge your mobiles and a fridge/ freezer to put your food in - even bags and a marker pen to write your names on. |Plentiful free fire pits, BBQ’s and stands are available, and logs, charcoal and kindling are available to purchase.|There is a little shop that has all the essentials you need including food, alcohol, toiletries etc.|On to the toilet and shower blocks - absolutely spotless, and like something you would find in a good quality pub, rather than a campsite! |Love the added touches of the radio playing, hairdryer, quality soap, hand dryer, warm blankets, hot water bottles and a kettle for if you get cold in the night.|There are two large washing up areas with washing up liquid, clothes and scourers. |Plenty of bins around the campsite including recycling bin.|There is a lovely picturesque country pub about a 25 minute walk away serving food.|Every little detail had been thought of to make the perfect, relaxing stay.|We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back very soon! Wonderful campsite, peaceful setting. An excellent campsite with a mixture of open grass fields and shaded woodland - approx. a 70%-30% split. The site is run by Jen and Larry who were always very helpful and friendly, as were their pet labrador and cat. The site is very much managed in a trusting and non-invasive manner, which made for a relaxing atmosphere and a nice change from having a list of rules to digest as at other sites. The pitches are large and undefined and there was no sense of overcrowding even when it filled up at the weekend. Fire pits and BBQs were available to use at no extra cost, as were spare blankets if required when the nights turned chilly. The facilities were very good with showers, toilets and washing-up areas being spotless. A small hut on-site served as an information hub and provided details of countless walks in the area. Also available was a small shop that stocked a wide range of essentials from freshly laid eggs & milk, to marshmallows & beer/wine (essential companions for the fire pits). The site is well positioned to explore Suffolk and we particularly enjoyed the coastal fringe, while Felixstowe provided a typical British seaside resort setting.

Loved this campsite. We’re cycling on tour and so good to have a campsite that isn’t a giant car park. Cars and vehicles are provided with wheelbarrows to carry their gear to the camping area. Makes the area so much more enjoyable without people driving around where your sleeping. Get some exercise too. I’m always amazed how much junk people take camping with them. Site toilet Bloch is wonderful and new spacious ,clean ,well appointed . We had a fire pit and camped near the woods and had the place pretty much to ourselves. Used one of the dinning tables dotted about. Owner was very helpful and relaxed.

A 5* campsite We have stayed at Newbourne a few times now, and are heading back next month with some friends so they can enjoy it too. The campsite is very well run, nice and relaxed and the perfect place to escape from the bustle of the world for a few days. You have the option to camp in the field area or the woods, both of which are lovely. It can get chilly in the woods in late season so it's nice to have the sunnier option of the fields if you like. There are fire pits for use, garden furniture around the site if you want to a picnic bench to sit at, and BBQs to borrow if you want them. The facilities are out of his world, I never thought I'd look forward to camping because I couldn't wait to use the showers but the wet rooms and rainfall showers are just beautiful. They have thought of all the added extras such as blankets and hot water bottles for chilly evenings, power points and a freezer if you need them, and a little shop for anything you may have forgotten. We love Newbourne and will definitely be returning again next year :)

This is a small, peaceful campsite that is adults-only. You can pitch on the grass areas or under the trees. You're not allowed to drive to your pitch - you park up and use their wheelbarrow to transporter kit. This keeps the site really tranquil. Shower block is lovely and clean. I really can't find anything negative to say at all.

KingFisher Cabin We had a lovely time in the Kingfisher Cabin. We took our German Shepherd with us and went for some lovely walks around the area. The seaside is not too far either and had a nice stroll in Felixstowe and Aldeburgh. The cabin is really comfy and the wood burner inside is priceless!

Jay and Asia's 1st anniversary ! 31st AUG 2013 Fantastic, Me and my wife enjoyed our 1st anniversary here ! Greeted by the lovely owners Jen and Larry upon arrival, Made to feel very welcome. Just happened to be evening entertainment the weekend we decided to visit. 4 local guys on acoustic guitars singing classic songs on a trailer late into the night whilst the drinks were flowing, great vibes all around. Half an hour from our front door but felt a million miles away from home.Everything is in close proximity, Accessible parking, a separate field area and lovely pitches for tents, use of wheelbarrows to help get all your camping gear to and from your cars. Great block with showers and great washing up facilities. Proper camping with the option of a shower basically. Lots of lovely farm shops nearby where you can purchase local food and drink to prepare whilst camping and a pub not too far away. Log burners and bbq's to borrow and lots of charcoal and firewood reasonably priced. Every little angle is covered and pre-planned with this site and is a real hidden gem. If you are looking for adult only camping this place will be ideal ! Will definatly be going again.

Thank you to Jenny for a beautiful, peaceful break in Newbourne, Suffolk. The campsite is very well maintained, with clean amenities (showers/toilets are great). We loved the quiet break outdoors and a benefit is that it is adults only so it’s perfect for couples/friends! Beautiful site Stayed for 2 nights in early May bank holiday - weather was cold but the site made up for it. Stunning pitches among trees and a well maintained, even, flat field. 5 star shower/toilet block - lots of nice touches like fire pits to use and extra blankets for chilly nights. Very welcoming hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - no wonder they win awards!

The best! Quite possibly the best campsite we've ever been to. You can either set up in the open areas or, like us, in the woodland. You can pitch wherever you like, but in order to have an open fire you have to pitch a little way down from the top of the campsite, but that doesn't limit you. Excellent toilet and shower block which is clean and airy. The site is dog friendly and adult only which is great for a peaceful retreat! Great place!

First time in a hammock Last week I bought myself a camping hammock and wanted somewhere to try my hand at hammock camping. After a little searching on the interweb I cam across Newbourne Woodland Campsite and their facebook feed said that they had a spare pitch as someone had gone home so I gave them a call and booked my pitch.. The campsite was very easy to find and we were met at the road by the proprietors (they have the house over the lane from the site). Jen came over and from our vantage point above the site she pointed out where everything was and then left us to it... Having parked up we went for a walk around the site we selected a suitable pitch in the woods where I could sling my hammock and my wife could pitch her tent. With everything set up we set about relaxing and taking in the peace and quiet. The facilities on site really are first rate, the toilets were clean and tidy, there were fridges and a freezer that you can use. Somewhere to charge your phone (not that you'll get a signal there), fire bowls are provided and even a covered barbeque. But that was not all, what really struck me was the attention to detail the owners have shown.. in the toilets there were two large boxes containing blankets that you can use if it gets too cold for you. There was insect repellent available to use and a lot of information in a "tourist information" hut by the main entrance. The site was very clean and tidy and looked well looked after. Everything worked as expected. True to their word, one price of £20 per night covered everything except firewood that was available at a good price of £5 per crate of logs.

Great bank holiday weekend What a great place to stay. The shower block and wash up facilities are of the standard you would expect of a 5 star hotel. The owners really have thought of everything. There is free use of a fire pit and BBQ, wood & charcoal available from the owners at reasonable rates. The owners limit the amount of pitches so there is plenty of space to tuck yourselves away and have some privacy. Wheel barrows are provided to transport your belongings to your chosen pitch. We had such a great time and will be returning very soon. This is a real gem, one that we would like to keep to ourselves but that wouldn't be fair as the owners have put so much effort into it. Plus it's adults only so no kids :-)

luxurious peaceful bliss! We stayed in their Kingfisher Cabin for 3 nights with our dog. The owner Jen couldn't have been more wonderful, she'd thought of everything, torches, dog poo bags, information on dog friendly beaches and beautiful walks, bug spray and even antihistamine cream! Upon arrival we found a welcome basket with bread, butter, Jam, milk and tomatoes. There was even a bag of ice in the freezer. This is an adults only campsite, with only 25 pitches, some of which are in woodland. The shower and toilet block were totally luxurious and there was also another little cabin which could be rented. This is highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.

Felt a bit pricy when booking but once on site realised we were at a triple A facility and worth every penny! Very well run site with a variety of secluded and open spaces to pitch. Toilet block modern and immaculate and the little honesty shop was well stocked with everything we needed to supplement our own supplies. The wheel barrows to haul your camping gear from the car park, the multiple drinking water points , the fridge and charging points and the many picnic benches were really handy and we loved the elephants (see photos)!

What a great place.Firstly arriving at the site the owners are very warm and welcoming, giving you all of the information you need.Once on the site it is outstanding to look at, well kept fields, good amount of trees. Was lovely to stay in a place of such beauty. The choice of where to pitch your tent is probably the hardest decision you need to make.On our stay there was plenty of other campers but no one had any issues with privacy.The washroom facilities were immaculate, with theadded bonus of a few blankets and hot water bottles.I could go on about how good I found this site, but the highest recommendation is that I will definitely go back. Thank you for all the hard work that goes into making a great site.

Hands down best campsite This is an absolute gem of a camp site. Truly special in that it has a superb relaxed vibe, without attracting hoards of 'relaxed' (i.e. noisy) people. I came back feeling relaxed and refreshed. I actually stayed July 2017 but forgot to leave a review at that time and having just been camping at the weekend I was reminded that I need to go back here! We fell asleep really early (quiet time after 10pm) and slept in until about 11am.... that says it all. No screaming children. No children full stop. No loud groups of adults. Camped in the shade of the forest. BLISS The attention to detail the owners have put into the site is incredible. - Friendly welcome -The shower and toilet blocks are like boutique hotel facilities they are so good! Great style, lots of hot water and they are clean and lovely. - Covered area you can use to sit / cook if the weather is bad. - Freezer for refreezing your ice blocks. - Little touches like a stack of blankets so you can grab an extra one if you're cold, and bug spray available You can choose your pitch and go for grass pitch or woodland which I loved, we went for the edge of the forest and there was a wood table and chairs next to the pitch we used to eat at. Plenty of flat ground. I think you can have a fire pit but we didn't bother. The local area is great - lots of walks or bike rides and an easy hop in the car to tourist sites. We actually didn't do as much as we intended to do because the campsite was so relaxing! For me, it is a bonus that cars are not allowed on the pitches. I hate camping with cars driving around the tent and ruining the view. You can get pretty close, and there are wheelbarrows available to move your stuff. Overall this is a 6* luxury camping experience and I hope it doesn't get too popular before I get back! ;-)

Totally Excellent! Spent 2 nights camping and three nights at Cherry Tree Cabin. This is the best site I have ever stayed at. The site facilities, atmosphere and set-up is fantastic. It's amazing to stay somewhere where open fires are allowed and the rule list isn't as long as your arm! The owners of this site are lovely and have certainly gone more than the extra mile in making this a superb place. Love it!

Super clean, relaxing, quiet and roomy campsite. Has camp store with food, drinks, things for a campfire and BBQ. Dog friendly.Helpful owners and a great location. Small pub and cafe within walking distance.

Perfect detox! Our umpteenth stay here and, once again, just perfect! Being Essex based, when I announce that I'll be spending a week of my treasured holidays in Suffolk, in a tent (!), my work colleagues often raise their eyebrows quizzically! Of course, the truth is that you need to go a long way to find such a great campsite, lovely countryside and sea air (just a short bike ride away) within such close proximity of one another. I think the site was full on our arrival, but you'd never know it! Unbelievable late August weather added the cherry to the top of our slow-down holiday! Don't come here if you want clubhouses or to be able to play loud music! However, if your idea of relaxation is spending an evening under a starlit sky and in front of a crackling fire listening to owls calling, this is for you. Whether camping in the woodland or on the open areas, you can be sure that life will feel a little better - even if it rains! Jen and Larry really do run a fantastic site here and I look forward to many more visits. Only one negative - my 'phone actually had improved signal over my last visit! I'll leave it at home next time!

Best camping site yet, and I’ve stayed in a few! Fabulous. Hosts (Jen & Larry & dog) have thought of everything. Peaceful, beautiful & truly relaxing. Go, you won’t be disappointed. The shop is well stocked & fairly priced, BBQ’s & fire pits to use and all you need to cook & keep warm. Showers & toilets were clean at all times (2 night stay) and the fridge freezer & charging point we’re perfectly added conveniences. Just heaven.

Our weekend escape Our first visit to this beautiful campsite. It was the 'adults only' (no kids) that first drew us to this place. Very tranquil and peaceful. We were greeted by Jan, very nice lady and her enormous dog Barney (gentle giant). We were told we could pitch our tent anywhere and that nowhere was off limits. In the forest was lovely but we wanted to be in the sun so pitched just on the edge of the forest. Toilets and showers very clean, insect spray available to use just in case you forgot yours. Lovely little communal covered area in case of rain with log burner. A real gem this place. Lets hope it doesn't get so popular that you won't be able to get on here as it only has 20 pitches. If Carlsberg made campsites........................ Actually this campsite is more Stella than Carlsberg! We recently had our third visit to Newbourne and it is simply the best campsite imaginable for a quiet weekend (or longer) away. There's simply nothing not to like! Fantastic loos and showers, peace and quiet, the smell of woodland in the morning, the smell of wood smoke in the evening and plenty of secluded pitches. I'm a little nervous of reviewing the site as the less people who know of the location the better! The Fox pub just down the road may not be the cheapest pub in the world but it's a lovely spot for a meal. For breakfast pop out to the Holeshot Café just down the road and then walk off any excess around the natural springs in Newbourne Village. If you fancy going further afield, take a look at Aldeburgh and enjoy the Suffolk coastline and maybe take a beach stroll along to Thorpeness or Sizewell. Camping as it was meant to be!

Stress Buster Wonderful campsite to get away from the world. Choice of woodland glade or pasture field limited to twenty pitches so plenty of space. Have fire pits and BBQ's available. No electric and very limited phone signal makes this the perfect hideaway. Toilets/shower where top class. Need to wheel barrow equipment to pitch but no more than 100-150 yards! Lots of local info available. No kids aloud or big groups so make it very quiet. With lots of background bird call. Great for short break.

Lovely place!

Great attention to detail This is a great campsite where the owners seem to have thought of everything. There are plenty of BBQs and firepits available to use, a campsite shop, a choice of either woodland or field camping, great wash facilities (the shower was better than our one at home providing no one was using the one next door!), blankets, a covered seating area, info about walks... the list goes on and on! This was all for a very reasonable price with no extra charges for taking the dog whereas a lot of campsites use this as an opportunity to charge extra. There is also a really good pub in the village that is doggy friendly and does great food :) The only slight downside is that you aren't allowed to take your car to your pitch, although we knew this before booking as it says on the website. Wheelbarrows are provided to cart your stuff however we ended up quite a long way from our car which meant a lot of trekking to and fro (in very unEnglish hot weather!).

An amazing woodland campsite, wuth everything you need for the perfect camping trip! Absolutely love it here, will keep coming back every year. Excellent facilities.

Jen and the team really know what they are doing There is a confidence to this campsite, borne out of people who clearly have a great plan and have been inspired enough to see it through. The facilities are excellent, but it is the maturity of the offering which sets this place apart. It is peaceful, everything works and you can do your own thing. We stayed in one of the two cabins - the quality of the accommodation is very high, the outlook is wonderful and you have everything you might need for a digital detox. Wonderful value and a great getaway. We will return.

Second trip This is our second stay at newbourne, first time we camped this time decided to stay in cherry tree cabin as it was our first trip as husband and wife (we got married on the Monday) stayed for 3 nights from Wednesday. The cabin was romantic as it had no electric and was lit by candlelight. The Wednesday absolutely chucked it down but made no difference to us. Toilet and shower block were 5* absolutely clean and had extras ie blankets, insect repellent if you had forgotten yours. Lovely and peaceful and not a million miles away. Will be returning

Fantastic location away from it all This campsite it truly amazing. You have a choice of whether to set up camp in the wood or the field next to it. There were only three tents there when we visited and it felt like we had the wood to ourselves! There are lots of little clearings and benches and tables dotted round and there are plenty of fire pits and bbqs to borrow. At only £20 per night its a bargain. The toilet/shower facilities are incredible - so clean and well maintained with lovely little touches like nice hand soap and bug spray to borrow, and washing up liquid and bowls to use outside . I especially liked the big box of blankets available to borrow to keep you snug in front of your campfire! There are only two toilets and two showers for each sex so I can see this could get busy if the campsite were full, however we had no problems at all. This campsite really has thought of it all. There are plenty of walking maps to borrow and even a shelf of books. It's an incredible little place with at least two lovely country pubs in walking distance! The only problem we had was trying to pay as its cash only and we saw no-one that worked there during our stay! However we managed to sort this, but maybe a tip for the management might be to install an honesty box or something in the reception area so people can post money for logs etc in there?! Brilliant place, highly recommend!

Outstanding Probably the best campsite I've stayed at in terms of location, friendliness of owners, availability and quality of facilities. We stayed for only one night but could've easily stayed for longer. Highly recommended, definitely worth a visit.

We stayed for the first time camping in September. First time we took our puppy camping with us. Made to feel welcome from moment we arrived. We've never met such chilled and warm hosts.The area has been set up perfectly, plenty of space and OMG the showers/toilets are outstanding.Opportunity arose this week for us to return to stay in one of the cabins. Again an amazing stay, cabin was lovely, warm and set up for us to have anither great stay.So! If you're looking to get away AND be able to just relax, without being bombarded with rules, then you really have to give this site a go - You will not be disappointed 😊a cosy weekend.

This is a wonderful campsite in a stunning setting with excellent facilities. The Kingfisher Cabin is just gorgeous so comfortable and with every consideration. It's a excellent place to relax for adults and your dog.
