Whilst we do not use an online booking system, our availability calendars below will give you an idea. We do our best to keep these up-to-date!

Booking Conditions

Camping bookings are normally taken for one night or more, and no less than three nights on bank holiday weekends. For our Glamping cabins the minimum booking is two nights, and three nights on bank holiday weekends.

To make your booking we will need your preferred dates and the name of each camper staying on site, as well as the address, telephone number and email address of the person making the booking. You must also mention if you would like to bring a dog – please read the relevant paragraph on the FAQ page before you decide whether you wish to bring your dog with you.

We do not normally request a deposit, but we do ask that you inform us as soon as possible if your plans change and you will not be arriving as confirmed. Please see our Cancellation Policy below.

We do not take bookings for groups of more than four people. and we allow a maximum of three people per tent (pitch). We also adhere strictly to our ‘quiet time after 10pm rule’ and we have found from experience that this works best with smaller groups. We apologise if this spoils your plans for a larger gathering but hope you will understand our reasons; we want to be sure that we can offer a peaceful and tranquil stay to all our visitors. The campsite is open from Friday 2nd May 2025 until the end of Octob

Tariff

Please note that for bookig purposes one tent is one pitch. Camping rates for 2025 remain at £28 per night per tent for up to 2 people. There will be an extra charge of £3 per night for a third person. There is still no charge for a dog, or a gazebo. The price for cyclists and walkers with tiny lightweight one-man backpacker’s tents remains at £22 per night. Please note we do not allow more than three people per tent and no groups of more than four people. 

Glamping rates for 2024: Cherry Tree Cabin £75 per night, Hawthorn Cabin £85 per night and Kingfisher Cabin £90 per night. Please see our Glamping pages for further details of the cabins. No extra charge for an accompanying dog.

Our charges are inclusive. The only extras you pay for are logs and charcoal, both of which are available at reasonable prices. Fire pits and barbecues are available for free loan, subject to availability.

There are no extra charges for visitors and there are no extra charges for quiet well-behaved dogs. If you would like to bring your dog you must request it when you book your pitch, as we do have a maximum number on site at any one time. We never allow more than two dogs per pitch.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation within seven days of arrival, or non-arrival without notification, will incur full payment of the pitch or cabin fees. A re-arrangement of dates within seven days will also be subject to cancellation fees as it is extremely unlikely we will be able to re-let your pitch or cabin at such short notice. Unlike other sites we do not ask you to pay for your stay before you arrive, we run the site on the basis of honesty and trust. We expect our visitors to be honourable and adhere to our cancellation conditions of payment for a last minute cancellation. As with other holiday bookings it would be wise to buy travel insurance which would reimburse you for cancellation costs incurred for genuine reasons.

Please contact Jen as soon as possible if you need to cancel; we would much prefer not to charge you for a holiday you haven’t taken!
